Vehicle renewal process (excluding printing the new registration): * Insurance: 20 KWD * Vehicle inspection: 10 KWD * Stamps: 2 KWD Total cost: 32 KWD Total duration: 1 hour 15 minutes (weekday morning). Note: This does not include printing the new vehicle registration (daftar). Due to recent policy changes, the registration can be printed later at a Citizen Service Center or the General Department of Traffic, depending on your governorate of residence. Process: Please refer to the attached photo for the parking area, main entrance, vehicle inspection queue entrance, and vehicle collection area. Step 1: Park your vehicle in the designated parking area and head to the main entrance with your current vehicle registration. Step 2: After completing the initial paperwork, drive your vehicle to the inspection queue. Once you reach the entrance, the staff will take your vehicle for inspection, and you can return to the waiting area. Step 3: When the inspection is complete, your name will be called, and you can collect your vehicle before proceeding with the remaining renewal steps. Overall, the process was straightforward and well organized. It’s helpful to know in advance that printing the new registration is handled separately. I hope this saves others some time and confusion. Bear in mind that most of the waiting time was due to the temporary suspension of private vehicle inspection companies. Once they resume operations, the process may be considerably faster. تجديد السيارة (من غير طباعة الدفتر): • التأمين: 20 د.ك • الفحص: 10 د.ك • الطوابع: 2 د.ك الإجمالي: 32 د.ك المدة تقريباً ساعة و15 دقيقة (الصبح في ايام أسبوع). ملاحظة: ما فيه طباعة للدفتر بنفس الوقت. تقدر تطبعه بعدين من مركز خدمة المواطن أو الإدارة العامة للمرور التابعة لمحافظتك. طريقة الشغل: 1. وقف سيارتك بالمواقف وخذ دفتر السيارة وروح للمدخل الرئيسي. 2. عقب ما تخلص الإجراءات الأولية، ود السيارة لمسار الفحص. أول ما توصل، الموظفين يستلمونها منك وتقدر تروح تنتظر بالصالة. 3. إذا خلص الفحص، ينادون اسمك، تستلم السيارة وتكمل إجراءات التجديد. بشكل عام الإجراءات كانت سهلة ومرتبة. حط في ببالك إن طباعة الدفتر منفصلة. وبرأيي أغلب التأخير كان بسبب توقف شركات الفحص الخاصة بشكل مؤقت. إذا رجعت تشتغل مستقبلاً، أتوقع الوقت يصير أقل. ومع هذا، أشوف الفحص الحكومي حالياً ممتاز، ويمكن أوفر وبنفس السرعة أو حتى أسرع.
